Why you got into comics
For the girls.... Seriously? Because I just loved the characters and the illustrations as a kid. By the time I was getting out of high school I realized that I enjoyed spending time drawing more than I enjoyed anything else. But now, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids more than anything else... And that explains my virtual absence from the scene over the past three years or so.
First comic I bought
I don't really remember. I was three when I first remember loving Batman. I remember picking out a Hulk comic when I was five. But by the time I picked out that comic, I had a collection that my mom had picked up from various garage sales.
Currently Reading
Old stuff. I just picked up 'The Perhapanauts.' It's wonderfully simple storytelling that I love. I recently bought a couple of issues of 'Punisher' with the Ariel Olievetti covers... Brilliant covers, brilliant story and brilliant guts too if you ask me.
