Why you got into comics
I grew up reading comics and they have become a large part of who I am. I decided to get into the comic field to, hopefully, create something that would last and inspire others to join the field. Sounds great and noble, huh? But when you break it down, the real reason I got into comics was to fulfill a childhood dream and, come on, how cool is it to say: "Yeah, I worked on X-men or Batman or Spider-man."

First comic I bought
Honestly, I cannot remember what the first comic I ever bought was, I am pretty sure it was a Spider-man comic, but it could have been a Batman book. But, I can tell you the first comic I bought that started my true comic book collecting; it was "The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones" #11, published by Marvel Comics in November 1983. I was looking through the comics at the corner store down from my house (yes, they sold comics at the corner store back then) and I saw it, here was Indy hanging from a bell tower with a giant hunchback getting ready to knock him to the courtyard below. WOW. That was it, I was hooked for life. After that day, comics became more that something fun to do, they became a hobby and a big part of my life.

Currently Reading
Perhapanauts, Lions, Tigers & Bears, The Walking Dead and just about any 70's horror comics I can get my hands on.
